If you’ve been as hungry as I have for fresh spring greens, now’s the time!<\/p>\n

We’ll be at Athens Organic Supply on Hwy 31 East in Athens tomorrow (that’s Saturday, April 12) to help them celebrate a grand re-opening. And we’re puttin’ on the green!<\/p>\n

This is the best time of year for really great fresh spinach! \u00a0Ours is Bloomsdale spinach and you can see that it has lots of curls and crunch. \u00a0The cool weather keeps it sweet and the texture is awesome!<\/p>\n

We’ll have our gourmet greens: \u00a0Lime Green and Red Streak Mizuna, Dragon Tongue mustard. \u00a0 \u00a0Pak Choy. \u00a0Arugula. \u00a0 Vates Kale.<\/p>\n

White Icicle and English Breakfast radishes.<\/p>\n

Hakurei turnips and greens. \u00a0These are not your average turnip. \u00a0 Little and sweet to eat raw, or add to a stir fry. \u00a0 And don’t leave out the greens! \u00a0 If you don’t think you like turnips, you’ll be surprised!<\/p>\n
