Clarification from the State Health Dept. (DSHS): “If the kale or chard is simply cut at the base and sold, it is not considered a potentially hazardous product and thus would not require refrigeration or a permit.”<\/em><\/p>\n So now we know:\u00a0Our fresh kale is not – and has never been – hazardous to your health!<\/p>\n And on that happy note: The Fall CSA season is on!
