The garden is finally beginning to produce a little bigger quantity, so we’ll be making an extra market this month!<\/p>\n

\"May<\/a><\/p>\n

Look for just a few New Potatoes<\/strong> to go with the fresh Dragon Tongue\u00a0beans<\/strong> or French beans<\/strong>. \u00a0 Some of the last Lettuce<\/strong> of the spring season that are still sweet and fresh. \u00a0Spring Onions<\/strong> – reds, whites and texas sweets along with some pretty\u00a0red scallions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’ll have Kohlrabi<\/strong> – purple and green, Scarlet and Dutch Blue Curly Kale<\/strong> – still tender and sweet. \u00a0A new (to us) kale called “Tronchuda<\/strong>” has a large flat leaf that is perfect for sandwich wraps or ‘cabbage’ rolls. And Swiss Chard,<\/strong> of course.<\/p>\n

I’ll bring some bunches of cilantro, parsley, oregano and peppermint, chocolate mint and spearmint.\u00a0 Edited 1\/11\/19<\/strong><\/p>\n

And I’ll have a couple more of the Thai Roselle<\/strong> plants for your own garden. \u00a0This is a member of the hibiscus family which produces a flower calyx that is used for a healthy herbal tea. \u00a0You can find more information about that by clicking HERE.<\/a><\/p>\n

As always, there isn’t a lot of any given thing. \u00a0Come early for best selection. \u00a0I know it must sound like a really trite sales pitch when I say that – but really….<\/p>\n
