And what better way to start the celebration than by meeting friends at the market!<\/p>\n

We’ll have lots of blueberries<\/strong> and wild blackberries<\/strong> in the morning!<\/p>\n

A few of the great heirloom tomatoes – Cherokee Purple<\/strong> and Black Krim<\/strong>. \u00a0 Cherry tomatoes – Ildi<\/strong> (a little yellow burst of sweet) and my favorite – Texas Wild tomatoes. \u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Texas Wild<\/strong> is a ‘currant’ type tomato and is the only one I know of growing naturally in Texas. \u00a0The size is small – but the flavor is Texas size!<\/p>\n

Peppers: \u00a0Pasillo Bajio <\/strong>(the traditional pepper for mole), Cayenne, Pepperoncino<\/strong><\/p>\n

Herbs: Sweet Basil,\u00a0Peppermint, spearmint, sage, lemon balm and lemon grass. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Potted herbs: \u00a0Lemon Balm and Calendula<\/strong><\/p>\n
