<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\tSpring greens are beautiful and delicious – thanks to our cooler-than-average weather. We’ll have Swiss Chard, Kale, Lettuces, Bloomsdale Spinach, Mustard, and Arugula. You couldn’t ask for a sweeter, more flavorful salad mix, along with some new heirloom varieties of radish – both mild and spicy – to give it some zip.<\/p>\n
We expect some of the cool-season crops (like cabbage and kohlrabi) to continue to mature and be available later in the spring.<\/p>\n
New potatoes including Purple Viking and fingerlings should be ready, along with onions from the fall planting. Turnips with beautiful greens, and Chiogga and golden beets.<\/p>\n
Find out what other unique veggies will be available later on our “Is It Ready Yet?<\/a>” page.<\/p>\n We are being encouraged by friends and customers to consider developing a Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) program that would allow customers to subscribe to a ‘share’ in whatever the garden is producing and be assured of a box\/bag of mixed, fresh, local veggies every week.<\/p>\n We’re just testing the waters to see how much interest there is among our customers. \u00a0If you are interested, just respond to the quick survey below. \u00a0We’ll post follow-up information here and have more available at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday, May 4. \u00a0 And please share the poll with local friends and family who might be interested.<\/p>\n [polldaddy poll=7065978]<\/p>\n If we go for it, the CSA will likely start with our June harvests.\u00a0Many thanks for your encouragement!
